Applications & Use Cases

Typical application domains
- Test bench commissioning and validation
- Hydraulic system diagnostics
- Flowmeter failure analysis
- Service and troubleshooting in the field
- Production monitoring during setup and optimization
Example 1: Pump startup behavior
Goal: Verify startup transients and detect overshoot.
Recommended setup:
- Flow signal on channel 1
- Optional pressure or auxiliary analog signal on channel 2
- Trigger condition on threshold crossing (
flowrate > 0.0 l/min)
Expected outcome:
- Time correlation of flow rise, peak, and settling behavior
- Comparable runs for before/after parameter changes

Example 2: Peak and overshoot detect
Goal: Detect pressure peaks to find source of system failures.
Recommended setup:
- High sample rate and low filter
- Save recordings with additional infos (placement of flowmeter, pressure conditions, fluid)
- Use cursor statistics to measure peaks
Expected outcome:
- Quantitive analysis of peaks and adding countermeasures

Example 3: Multi-device acquisition
Goal: Capture many channels from several devices in one session.
Recommended setup:
- Connect multiple supported devices
- Combine channels using math channels
- Color channels by unit and assign consistent axis mapping
- Use compact live values for high channel count
Expected outcome:
- Scalable acquisition with theoretically unlimited channels (depending on system resources)

Limits
Practical limits are determined by total sample throughput, rendering load, and available RAM. For high channel counts, use lower sample rates first and enable only channels relevant to the current analysis task.
