License Activation
Before connecting a device for the first time, EasyGraph needs to be activated with the appropriate license. The activation method depends on the device type.
-
Hardware-bound activation
log.flow uses the device's own serial number as the license key. No internet connection is required — the license is permanently tied to the hardware.
-
Online activation
IO.flow®, SimpleSerial and all evaluation units (A341, A350, FU210) use a software license key that is validated online. An active internet connection is required at each software start to connect to those devices.
Hardware Activation
log.flow
The serial number printed on the log.flow device label acts as the license key (32-character alphanumeric code). The hyphens in the serial number do not need to be entered.
The following video shows how to enter the key:
Multiple keys for different log.flow devices can be stored and managed side by side. Right-clicking a key lets you add a label to remember which device it belongs to.
To manage your registered keys, go to License in the main menu bar Manage log.flow keys.
Online Activation
IO.flow®, A341, A350, FU210, SimpleSerial
After purchase you will receive an email with the license key. Enter it once and EasyGraph will validate it online on each subsequent start.
The following video shows how to enter the key:
To edit or remove the key — for example if you need to move the activation to another PC — go to License in the main menu bar Manage EasyGraph key.
Exceeded activation limit?
If you have reached the activation limit and cannot activate on a new PC, remove the key via the License menu on the old PC first. This frees up the activation slot.
